Dark Path Chapter 6
Added 2025-02-12 21:14:21 +0000 UTCThe next couple chapters are likely to be a little lighter in sex than the first few, as we've got some actual plot to tackle to move the story along. This serves as our introduction to the third member of Azalea's conspiracy, as well as showing Alex giving in to his dark urges that little bit more.
It also introduces a slightly more LitRPG element in the form of Rachel's HUD power. I don't plan to lean on it too heavily, but it gives me as an author a good way to dump some extra info and tell the reader exactly what's happening. Ambiguity is nice, but this isn't intended to be an ambiguous story - it's a story about some not great people in not great situations making decisions to try to advance their own causes. And fucking a lot along the way.
Still working on Master of One as well - I wound up redoing most of the latest chapter when I had an idea that I like better, I'll publish that once I'm through the current section of it.
