Dark Path
Added 2025-02-07 21:14:43 +0000 UTCI've re-exported the sections of Dark Path I have written into days. Again, this probably won't be the final groupings for the story, but it makes enough sense for now. There are a few changes to some sections here and there, but if you're up to date on it and only looking for the latest section, I've uploaded that here separately.
I like the way the story is working out. It is, as promised by the name, much darker than my other works. I think my problem the first time through was making the main character an asshole who was surrounded by nice people. Making him an asshole who is surrounded by other assholes works much better - it's easier to root for him when he's not just being mean to someone stupid and sweet.
I've got the next several sections roughly planned out, I'll give a stab at writing some of them over the weekend and see if they work as well as I have in mind. I'm still working on Master of One as well, and will bounce back and forth between the two projects for a while, as well as updating Augur B2 with my editor's inputs. She's starting to make good progress, so I'm hoping we're close to a publishable version of that soon.
Latest versions for both Augur B2 and MoO are updated.
