Draft Upload Style
Added 2024-10-19 17:18:36 +0000 UTCQuick poll for full members:
I'm trying to figure out the best way to share new content as I revise and edit.
Do you prefer:
What I've done with the last two Tzila chapters, and upload just the specific new scene segments as they're written/edited
What I did with Master of One, where I export the whole document each time so you can see all the changes, at the cost of having to scroll through a longer document?
Something else (Answer in Comments)
Neither of the first two is particularly easier or faster than the other. Doing whole chapters when I add a scene is kind've a pain, because I have to copy/paste the text from multiple areas into a document (or do a compile in Scrivener, but delete everything I'm not trying to upload, but that's even more work.)
Comments
Dug around in Scrivener enough that I found the way to do Chapters individually! Gonna post a new poll with that in mind.

2024-10-20 17:10:53 +0000 UTCI should probably find a way to keep a master copy of the full document somewhere, so you can easily pull up the whole thing if you want to, and then just post scenes as I write

2024-10-20 14:34:04 +0000 UTCI think posing as they makes sense. A 13 chapter word doc is easy to get lost in but 1 chapter one works just fine and we don't have to keep rereading same scenes to see if there was a change

2024-10-20 14:19:03 +0000 UTCI think whole chapters would be better so we can see it in context, without having everything re-added, but since that's not feasible, then just the new scenes would work since, again, the whole document would be a bit much each time there is something new.
