Behind the Scenes

How much behind the scenes info do you want?

For example: In Augur, while I've been releasing chapters as I write them, I haven't been revealing some of the worldbuilding that goes on behind them to result in the setting the story takes place in.

The world isn't nearly fully fleshed out, but there is a fair bit of the metaphysics behind everything that has been set since before the beginning of book 1. As I edit chapters or release drafts, how much do you want to hear about the details of what I was thinking?

Comments

Yeah - Unfortunately Patreon doesn't actually have a good way for me to mark content as spoilers, so I may do just broad strokes of what I'm trying to accomplish in a scene (the mood I want to set, the image I'm trying to paint of a character, ways that a scene links back to a previous scene, etc) for now. At some point I may revisit that, though - there are some things that may only be obvious in hindsight that I've tried to put in for the longer form works (Augur has the most, obviously, but as I'm working on some worldbuilding for the LitRPG it is likely to have a *lot* of potential notes.)

While I’d like some notes, I don’t want spoilers until we get to the content itself.
