Another new take on a LitRPG Intro
Added 2024-09-27 03:59:56 +0000 UTCI started writing a follow-up chapter to what I already posted from the LitRPG, but realized partway through that I was boring myself with exposition and dumping information about the system.
Rather than attempting to re-write that section, I decided to see what happened if I instead skipped ahead some and started the reader's viewpoint a little farther along in the process. I'll need to take some time to exposit and reveal info eventually, but that can come up as it becomes relevant, rather than bogging the story and action down with too much of it up front.
I also took a different approach to the perspective character, and I think I like writing this one even more. I've got a pretty strong feel for his perspective, and I think it'll make for a stronger and more consistent character voice throughout.
