New LitRPG Harem Series

I'm trying a few different new things to see which one(s) feel good. I wrote the first two chapters of an Isekai LitRPG, then re-read them and decided that I didn't like the characters I'd built. I went back and, while keeping most of the events the same, re-wrote basically everything about them. I like the characters that are starting to form, and the overall mood and tone of the 2nd take, so I'll likely see if I can get a couple more chapters of development done over the next few days while everything is fresh in my mind.

Title and all names are subject to change, though - what I have in there now is workable, but mostly placeholder.

I may see if I can knock out a magic notebook chapter soon! It's been long enough that I might be able to approach it with a fresh perspective and make some progress

If you are taking a bit of a break from Augur should we also expect more magic noot book, drama path, or rex?

Little of column a, little of column b. I find that if I spend too long focused on one specific work I start to burn out faster, so from time to time I need to work on something different until my brain has a little time to recover. In this case, I realized that I'd been trying to write the next chapter of Augur book 3 several times, and none of them felt right. That's usually a sign that it's time to write something different. Augur Book 2 is still my focus, and after I take a little break from it, I'm going to go back and try to get that wrapped up and published. On the other hand, Augur is a story with a couple specific ideas and themes. It's got an extremely high amount of sex compared to lots of other series (which is fine and good - I like writing sex scenes), but that means the tone isn't right for some kinds of stories I might want to tell. Some of what I'm doing is exploring different settings and characters so I can figure out which ones contain stories that I want to tell.

Interesting start, are you planning on starting new works or is this for the future while you work on the ones you already started?

John Henry

Interesting start! I'm curious to see where this goes
