Augur Editing
Added 2024-09-14 19:00:46 +0000 UTCI have gotten some work done on Augur B3 Chapter 4, but paused because my editor gave some excellent feedback about Tzila's arc in Book 2.
My intention with her character was to start her from a place of internal conflict, then show her resolving that with Jack's help.
I know what's going on there, but I didn't spend a ton of time showing why Jack would bother. I knew what the end state was, so it was obvious to me, but it didn't necessarily translate and didn't do a good job of showcasing Jack's character as a result.
I'm currently going back to Chapter 15 in Book 2, and have added about 3000 words of dialog and conversation among the original harem. I'll probably go through chapters 16 on and make sure the results of the changes continue to fit - hopefully the overall shape of Tzila's arc doesn't change too much, but I want to make sure I don't need to compromise anyone else's characterization to deliver her story.
