Augur Book 3
Added 2024-08-30 12:59:56 +0000 UTCI'm not ready to start actually writing Augur Book 3 - not quite - but while I had several hours on the road this week, I started thinking about what direction I wanted to take it.
I have several themes I want to explore, and several plot lines in mind, but I wanted to get some input on the general mood / flavor of the series.
Book 1 is, despite its Urban Fantasy setting, very slice-of-life - that is, we see a lot of Jack's day to day life and existence as he begins to adapt to the new arrivals and his broadening experience with the supernatural community.
Book 2 has elements of that, but it's a little more action-adventure at times. It's probably still more slice-of-life than not, but there's some more intense conflict with the vampires and Janssens, including an outright magical battle in the middle of a thunderstorm.
For book 3, what would you rather see?
