2025-04-19 22:01:04 +0000 UTCseeing you really get into Peter’s performance made me smile SO BIG !!!!! 🤩🤩 your reaction to Missy’s brief cameo had me laughing too - can we TALK about the way she COMMANDS EVERY SCENE SHE’S IN???!!!!! literally MAGNETIC. CANNOT look away from her. GOD I love that woman. the parallel of the soldiers to Danny Pink is so well done in this ep, the contrast of soldiers still at war vs Danny recovering from his own experiences, the similarities there between the regret Danny feels and that same regret felt by the Doctor for his own soldier-esque experiences and how HIS regret fuels a rage while Danny’s fuels an almost insecurity and vulnerability (similarly to how 11 carried his own guilt, so no wonder it drew Clara in, not to mention him being a bit bumbling and socially awkward like 11 👀). special shoutout to Murray Gold AGAIN: when the Dalek first turns “bad” again, in the background of the Doctor ranting about how Daleks can never be good etc and Clara confronts him, there’s a brief callback to 9 and 10’s themes to symbolise the thread of hatred and regret the Doctor has had for such a long time regarding the Daleks - a BEAUTIFUL callback 🫶🏻 SO GLAD you enjoyed this one, really looking forward to seeing what you think of the rest of Peter’s era!! ☺️

2025-04-04 10:56:28 +0000 UTCOne of the funniest things is, these people wanted the Doctor to go in and fix the Dalek then get mad at him when he turns out to be correct that there is no "good Dalek". Like what did these people think would happen going in there and fixing what ever was wrong? Good thing Clara didn't give up faith and convince the Doctor that MAYBE there could be a way to get a good dalek.
