I genuinely cried when he showed up. Tom is my absolute fave of original who and the reason I'm obsessed with jelly babies 🤣 so good but so sickly

2025-03-13 09:54:45 +0000 UTCMoffat was DELIVERING on this special, man. David Tennant. Billie Piper. John Hurt. Multi-Doctor moments (always, ALWAYS a gem to witness) Previewing the 12th Doctor before he actually debuts proper. And...you wouldn't know this I don't think, but in that prequel episode with Paul McGann (the 8th Doctor), Moffat basically canonized his Big Finish Audio Dramas in one fell swoop by having the 8th Doctor list off his Big Finish companions' names on screen before taking the drink to regenerate. 8 was done dirty with a single movie on-screen, but he was redeemed with his Big Finish audios. Highly recommend checking them out on your own time if you're interested in more Classic stuff down the line. Us Doctor Who fans were absolutely FEASTING on November 23rd, 2013. It was and is still glorious.

2025-03-06 17:57:36 +0000 UTCJay, you did not disappoint! And you loved it as much as I expected you would. The Curator at the end—since you haven’t watched classic Who you wouldn’t know. That was Tom Baker, the actor who played the fourth Doctor. The repartee about remembering faces and “ If I were you” takes on richer meaning in that context. For those of us who first met the Doctor by way of Tom Baker it is just a huge, unending teary-eyed smile.

THE LEGEND HIMSELF 😭😭😭 every Classic Who fan in the cinema was LOSING IT man! so unbelievably iconic

2025-03-06 12:54:46 +0000 UTCOur minds were all blown when the general said, "All twelve of them" and Peter Capaldi announced "No sir, all thirteen!" This anniversary episode was truly something special. Your reactions always warm my heart and help me relive my favorite moments for the first time again through your eyes.

2025-03-06 10:07:56 +0000 UTCI love the 50th anniversary 😍 I kind of accidentally saw it 3 times the day it came out 😂 I regret nothing. I just wish Billie came back as rose that would have been the cherry on top for me
