Season 3 is great, definitely up their with my favourite seasons. If it wasn't already blatantly obvious this episode, with Buffy leading a worker's revolution, and fighting with a Hammer and Sickle, apparently Buffy sometimes moonlights as a Communist revolutionary. Love that they bough back Chanterelle/Anne, the scenes with her and Buffy are really sweet, plus her standing up for herself by shoving that demon guy. Pet peeve with this episode though, it bugs me when they show the people on the street looking all dirty. I was addicted to heroin for several years in the 90s, spent some time out on the streets, and it's absolutely possible to stay clean and wash your clothes when you need to. Most of the people I knew on the street were concerned with being clean; it's a pride thing, like it's bad enough having to sleep at train stations or in empty buildings, you don't want to walk around looking all gross on top of that. Maybe it's different in the US, but the whole 'filthy and homeless' thing is just such a cliche to me.
