2024-11-03 13:25:43 +0000 UTCnot one of the strongest, but it’s a fun standalone! glad you appreciated it for what it was!! few things from this ep: CHIBNALLLL 🤬🤬 that climbing frame Doc’s sat on at the start? my primary school literally had it, must be like the default British climbing frame 😭 also, Kate Lethbridge-Stewart is the daughter of a Classic Who companion, Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart (that’s why the Doctor saluted her as soon as she introduced herself despite him generally being against salutes) - if you remember the Doctor being like “time has never laid a GLOVE on ME” a while back? he rings a carehome and they said a man passed away, always poured a brandy for the Doctor? that was Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart 🥺🫶🏻 also…try to remember the theme that plays when the Doctor and Amy had that important conversation, keep an ear out for it…👀
