oh man, it’d be easier to list what WOULDN’T be behind that door, I’ve got too many fears!! 😭 to narrow it down, behind that door would probably be a mixture of my top three: heights, spiders, and sand 😑

hadn’t thought of this before, but off the top of my head I’d say the angels in this ep aren’t “images” (a picture/video of an angel becomes an angel, but if a statue is carved to look like an angel it doesn’t just become one, it’s still just a statue - tho any statue can already BE an angel, not any statue can just BECOME one) so bc these are manifestations of them as a fear rather than an “image” of them so to speak, they aren’t real angels that’d zap someone back in time - they’re just part of the hotel meant to incite fear and inspire faith. sorry for the long message, obviously this isn’t canon or anything but this was my train of thought from your theory!

So I saw a thing that I haven't thought of before. Is "the image of an angel becomes an angel" purely for the last episode they were the main alien? Because if not the one room we run across with them they should be solid stone
