They did. A tv movie a few years back with Debra Messing as the mom and Nicole Scherzinger as Penny. And while I loved that they gave the relationship of Baby's parents more depth in it, the movie itself was just really ... not good. I've seen the original probably more than 50 times by now, it's by far my most watched film, and I don't think they could ever recreate the charme and general greatness of this movie. The soundtrack + chemistry between Swayze and Grey is un-beatable.

2023-07-24 07:12:43 +0000 UTCrip patrick swayze 💔gone too soon. loved this movie since i was a kid. with all the remakes and reboots happening i hope they never decide to remake this one. i will revolt, boycott, refuse to watch if they do. this is a classic and should not be touched!!

2023-07-23 19:36:16 +0000 UTCEven though I wanted some of the other movies in the last poll to win more, I still love Dirty Dancing. It's a classic I don't get tired of. My favorite songs of the movie is Hungry Eyes(Eric Carmen) and She's Like The Wind(Cool that it's actually sung by Patrick Swayze, first time I heard it, I thought it was Elton John). And of course dont forget the iconic line "Nobody puts baby in a corner!" And the great last dance.
