Big weekend, so slightly early Mooniverse News. (8-22-24)

With AEW All In on my calendar and work until then... I figured I should get a distraction out of the way and drop some Mooniverse News.

Well, good news in abundance. First, I passed 50 Patrons for the first time ever. This was a change and a nice thing to happen...

Here is a bug noted by an Itchio user in chapter 2. Rather than making you DL it again, I just dropped the file. Follow instructions and boom, CH. 2 fixed. Saw it half way through my work shift, went home knowing how to fix the issue immediately. Fixed it. Dropped this in SEVEN HOURS. How many devs do that? IDK how many... but I do. I am proud of that.

However, not going to lie, when I work and drop bugfixes in 7 hours after they are reported and I see moochers with over 1K in donations, its really fucking hard not to be bitter over it... but I push that aside and just do me. Keep being decent to people. Keep with mutually friendly policy towards development. Continue with honesty and integrity... Hope that I will finally get my shine. Sometimes, it just takes some bigger dev to play your shit and like it and tell everyone how good you are... It happened with an acquaintance of mine (Berkili) and I am sure it can happen to me... I will keep my faith... Try to look on the other man and look at ME.

There are people who have had day one faith in me, so even if I don't go over $200, I am not the kinda person that likes to feel I let ONE person down. This is why I was skittish about becoming a dev at first, the community can be a hostile and energy crushing experience where people like me (the hard workers who aren't getting their full due) get passed by because my stuff isn't up to industry standard graphics wise.

That said: The attachments are WIP Chapter 5 items. After 4.1, there are map designs from a distance and close. Also three debuting characters, after all... a war needs soldiers. These three will be featured and given a little limelight. They are called "Deathtouched", their training is akin to The Legion of the Dead in Dragon Age or "The Trial of the Grasses" for future Witchers. A Tacrawian special forces unit only deployed to dire situations. I dont want to share too much... but thats some work for Ch 5 done already. I am dead ass serious about October 5th.

More good news: Tons of success on Itchio. Cool. But then its gone and many are quiet there. In fact, number are sinking right now faster than the titanic. I think I have gone a while without some gushing praise from someone... (Minus Hanako, who is dev bae). wink

Also, it was noted to me that scenes from Chapter 4 could be construed to have SHARING in them. Some of these were written at the height of my fatigue and frustration overall... There is a fix incoming to remedy that to provide a placeholder option to skip that scene with Lilith joining you to break in Lucy. While Lucy is written to be sexual free-spirited, I get that some don't want Lucy with others even if they are beloved harem members... So... Fix for that and a skip for a 4.1 scene are incoming... If you feel anything doesn't carry the "Gotta fuck em all" Spirit of PM and it bothers you. Tell me. I know people are jittery about it, but you can't see change if you dont seek it. If you are civil and logical, I listen. Easy, right??
