The trickster is very interesting cool idea of a villain, one of the best throughout the whouniverse I'd say The meteor was needed for the trickster to feed on the chaos it bring causing the destruction of earth without sarah jane stopping it. The tricker creates timelines/manipulate to create chaos he feeds on. The concept of the trickster going after the doctor when talking to sarah jane " Imagine if the Doctor had never existed. What chaos there would be across the stars" is importance as well.(not saying anymore)
