I just realized Mike's mom is the same girl in Karate Kid 2, and or video Glory of love, song that should've been featured in Glee but wasn't.

My favorite performance/song of the episode was either Mercedes first song or her and Rachels duet. I fully agree with you, that the best moment/scene was the one with Mike and his mom, when she was suportive and they danced around the room, it was so lovely, after the pressure from his dad, hopefully he will somehow be more understanding at some point.
