You make this show so much more fun than it already is. You have such an expressive reaction and I feel even deeper emotions when watching this with you. Can't wait for season 2... 2022-12-21 03:37:19 +0000 UTCDuring the rugby match Nick scans the groups of participants and can’t seem to find Charlie. That’s because he’s expecting him to wear a red bib, not a blue one. The camera (Nick) quickly goes over a whole row of blue team people, then lingers over the red team crowd but doesn’t find him. He isn’t aware of Charlie and Tao swapping bibs for the 200 meter run. It takes him a while to spot Charlie in the crowd. But when he does… ❤️. So many little details… Amazing show !

2022-06-13 22:04:21 +0000 UTCSo, I have to say. The first few times I watched a Hearstopper reaction with a straight guy I found it very uncomfortable. And it wasn't them. It was me. I actually had a lot of internalized homophobia still inside me and Hearstopper made me aware of it. it's because Hearstoppe is so wholesome that even me watching it made me uncomfortable as I was used to pain, sadness, and trauma not joy. I kept expecting something bad to happen every time Nick and Charlie kissed, to punish them and I guess myself. Your reactions were different, you were so enthused and upbeat about the show from the beginning that it got me to calm down. Thanks for sharing your joy with all of us.

You are almost as adorable as Nick and Charlie... (I say "almost" because, I don't think ANYONE could come close). Your complete investment in the characters is awesome. You act like an older brother ready to pounce on the bullies. I love watching you when Nicklie kiss. It's like your favourite team made a touchdown in the final three seconds of the fourth quarter.

Alice Oseman is a genius. I’ve read all 4 books/graphic novels and believe me a lot is yet to happen. A 5th book is yet to be published, it will close the series. I don’t know if its material will be in season 2, or if it’s material for a 3rd season ? EDIT: yes, there will be 2 more seasons !!!

Unless you don´t mind spoilers, obviously then you can just jump into all of them. But it might be better for the reactions later on if you don´t read beyond volume 2.

I thought I was gonna be fine re-rewatching this (like if that was possible) but no matter how times, I always teared up when Charlie says the world would be better off without him... I was right there with his sister hugging him 😭 I love everything about this episode, even the rough parts, cause they lead to amazing amazing moments. I can not say enough about how perfect this was, what a great show, what a great characters, they all have my whole damn heart and can not wait for season 2 (and with it, your reactions) As for the graphic novel video, Im not sure. I've been trying so hard to avoid it because I do want to be "surprised" (for lack of a better word) to what will happen then since this show is a perfect representation (I will forever love that they let Alice, the creator of the comic, write all of the episodes) to the webcomic, so I guess that's up to you. That being said, I know a lot of fans of the comic, even before the show came out, loved it just as much so I guess it comes down to personal preferences. Anyway, loved the reaction, gonna have to re watch the entire season yet again to cope with the wait 😅 PS: not you trying to make the "Hope-less" joke a thing with Ben 😅

I think it would be a great idea to do videos on the graphic novels. It just depends on whether you're happy to know what is going to happen in future seasons. As I think they will stay very dedicated to the graphic novel again, like they did with this one. This first season is based on the first 2 Heartstopper volumes. You'll be amazed how well the cast match the animations in my opinion. And so good that the actors were perfection in their roles. You could really tell they each knew their character 100%.
