I loathe DAZ and asset flipping Illusion assets isn't for me, not what I want my own game to have. I'm amazed what some can do with DAZ, Blender and HS/KP but its not for me. So handdrawn it is. I want handdrawn art up to my level of writing skills, which I feel is very good. I feel I have set up an excellent world and with quality art, it can only bring this project to life.
Second Topic: Time to start development and deeply learning RENPY. I am incredibly new to this, but I chose to use Renpy because I feel I have enough experience dabbling into the console to make things work. The code isnt alien to me, which is why it edged out HTML/Twine and the more I learn, the more I feel I have made the right choice.
Things might progress slowly, I am an American working a 5 day/40 hr workweek, but I promise to do my best to keep people in the loop and keep progress updates incoming. I feel once my first chapter is fully revised, complete and direction is fully clear and focused, I feel more will jump aboard the hype train.
