2021-05-26 14:30:11 +0000 UTCWanted to share a touching note Mara Wilson-the child actress who played the youngest one-said about meeting Robin for the first time" My strongest impression came when we saw each other for the first time that day. Robin crossed to me from across the room, got down to my level, and whispered 'Hi, how are you?' He asked how my family was doing, how school was, never raising his voice and only sometimes making eye contact," she recalled. "Robin would do anything to make me and the other kids laugh," she wrote. "He seemed to know instinctively what we would find funny, and never had to resort to saying anything that was inappropriate for children. He was, after all, a father himself."

"Well I'll put on a chicken!" "Stu, more of a thick soup than a name." "WHY HELLO!" "The whole time, The whole time, THE WHOLE TIME!" 🤣

As a kid I remember loving it for the funny moments....I didn't even understand the gravity of the divorce. As an adult I absolutely love the conversation between him and Miranda talking about what went wrong...you really see both sides. This movie doesn't get old though...the one liners are as funny as the first time. I hope in the future you'll consider watching Parent Trap (1998)...that one has a nice family vibe as well :))

2021-05-25 14:59:19 +0000 UTCLove this movie, and Robin Williams was great as always. Kinda funny how you were'nt that impressed with Stuart, and funny and awkward to see Daniel switch back and forth between the two for the scene in the appartment and the scene in the restaurant, where he was double booked so to speak. My favorite scenes are when Lydia comes out to talk to Mrs doubtfire, and says she has'nt seen her mom this happy in a long time, and I was thinking like you, if only they knew, that it was actually him making them happy, Just like when Miranda said she was so thankful for Mrs doubtfire, or something like that, and I loved it when we saw him getting to spend more time with the kids in the end and getting to use Mrs Doubtfire in his job. Also love the "Run by fruiting" 😆
