It doesn't matter how many times I watch this episode, it breaks me every time. It's just heartbreakingly beautiful. Rose will always be special to me and this episode will always be painful, the fact the The Doctor never got to say "I love you" back to her was just cruel writing lol. 😭😭

Delay in Doctor Who reactions? Whimper. I don't like the sound of that!

I love but hate how they give us this huge emotional s**t show and then they just literally "WHAT??" us XP

The Sarah Jane adventures and Torchwood was aired in between doctor who seasons, so would strongly recommend watching them all in chronological order

This is the problem with the Whoniverse.... there's so much of it! In addition,I would also strongly recommend a selection of Classic Who stories,in order to discover the origins,as well as enhance future reactions. Unfortunately, all of this requires a lot of time; which probably isn't possible for most reactors - especially if they also want to react to other TV series!

A great emotional finale and a highly enjoyable reaction as always.
I'm happy you are starting Torchwood as it does expand the whoniverse. I'm not as big fan of it as I find it far more miss than hit personally.
No pressure, but so we can know what to expect. As of late it has been an episode of DW about every 2 weeks or so. Is that the trend we might expect now you are starting Torchwood in its place temporarily. If so, that would mean starting season 3 in about 5-6 months unless I misunderstood.

Jay, you really need to watch the Sarah Jane Adventures. At least Series 1. I really hope you can continue doing Doctor Who alongside the other shows though, as a 13 week delay (if 1 episode of Torchwood a week happens) is way too long before continuing with Doctor Who.
So yeah, hope you can squeeze Torchwood and Sarah Jane Adventures in while continuing Doctor Who

So, unpopular opinion, Rose really isn't my favorite character at all. That said, I tear up at this episode every time I watch it. It's a good character arc and a well done episode. The highlight of the episode for me though is the Daleks and Cybermen trashtalking eachother :) I actually haven't seen Torchwood, but I've heard it's pretty good. I hope you get to the next season soon though! In my opinion it just gets better from here

Don't want to spoil anything obviously, but make sure you watch the Christmas episode before you watch season 3! I hate watching this episode over because I always cry! That final goodbye was heart-wrenching!

You definitely have the best Doctor Who reactions ever. I saw this like 10 years ago and to this day this episode always gets a tear out of me. Fun fact: Billie Piper won an award for her performance as Rose this episode and by god does she deserve. She’s the woman who brought Doctor Who back and into the modern age and she’ll always have a special place in my heart, and no one ever truly replaced her for me, but definitely look forward to new characters. This is definitely the end of an era. No more Tyler’s, no more Mickey and no more Rose.

Great ending for a season finale and can’t wait for more reactions of more doctor who content - Torchwood and as well as the Sarah Jane adventures

First watched this as a 5yr old and I am still scarred to this day. The final scene has been voted one of the most emotional in sci-fi, and rightly so. The show really ramps up to another level from here on out. I can't wait to see your reactions!
