See what scares me most about the cybermen is the fact that they were once human and just the idea of shoving someone in a metal suit and taking their emotions from them, taking who they are from them, absolutely destroys me. I cry every time that Sally part happens. It really kills me inside. They took away her life and her wedding day. It’s horrible. I also feel the whole Cybermen concept is a warning. Those ear pieces are a warning. Relying too much on technology I feel is causing us to be less and less human. We may one day end up being controlled by technology if we aren’t careful. Cybermen are an extreme example of what could happen. Mickey isn’t my fave but I do like him. Especially in these later episodes. I like his growth. He really comes into his own and realises how much he can do.

From a bumbling dolt;to a brave freedom fighter - every episode in which he appeared,his character grew and developed;until he became a really solid and dependable guy. He will be missed!
