2024-11-30 22:09:56 +0000 UTCI used to love TPβs work (Diary of a Mad Black Woman, Family Reunion, etc.) but now it just seems like putting Black women through pain. Trauma porn is just too much. I found the antagonists to be cartoonishly mean and just plain corny. Overall the writing really struggled and depended on every kind of trope to be interesting.
