Magnus is the High Warlock of Brooklyn and he truly believes that in order to save his people from Valentine and Jonathan he needs to unite the Downworld and offer the warlocks protection. The Seelie Queen would never allow Magnus to still be in a relationship with a Shadowhunter while they were under her protection.

2018-04-07 10:55:50 +0000 UTCThe moment that killed my soul in this episode was the part when they were holding hands in the flashbacks and it fades out to them holding hands in the present and the music in the background. It killed me. Matthew and Harry's acting in the episode was beautiful tbh.
