Accepting failure and learning when to not post

Hello! Sorry I haven't posted in a while but I wanted to post this illustration here. This is a drawing of Kotoka from NIJISANJI which you may have seen me draw on twitch. I decided to not post it on my socials once it was finished.

A personal goal I have is to post once a week, often I find myself rushing to meet my self made deadline which can sometimes lead to pieces I am not fully proud of. This drawing is the perfect example. I didn't spend the time and care creating the style I wanted and instead simply drew without thinking or particularly trying.

This drawing served as a reminder that all drawing is good drawing and it shouldn't become a chore, because a lack of passion and love in a piece can become very obvious! I am not upset that I didnt post this drawing, I'm proud of myself for deciding that the quality of my work meant more to me than meeting my weekly schedule.
