Hey everyone,
Here, we're sharing our monthly public development post, so I'll recap some of last month's key points, while also sharing what we've been up to over the past week.
We completed the updated Realm 4 looks for the three leading ladies, featuring new hairstyles and outfits. I put them at the top of this post for something pretty to look at :)
We animated numerous SFW and NSFW animations. We can't share previews of the NSFW ones here (as the post is public), but we shared a couple of screenshots on our supporter posts during May.
While potentially still subject to change, the main story of Realm 4 currently consists of 64 scenes. We have completed the posing outline of the first 54 scenes. This doesn't mean they are complete, but we have placed the characters in the scenes, with basic posing. We still need to add facial expressions, final camera angles and lighting. This will take some time, but the fact that we already have most of Realm 4 posing outlined is great and will hopefully allow us to move quickly with Realm 4 once we begin releasing it.
We worked on re-posing some of the Realm 3 side paths and earlier parts of Realm 4 to improve them, as we weren't 100% happy with how some of the shots looked.

We also made some progress with our second game, ACTC. This has been progressing slowly in the background for a while, as we have always stated that TSR is the main priority. Our initial plan was to release the full "Season 1" on Steam only; however, as development is taking longer than we had planned, we are looking to release each episode on Patreon first (like we do with each chapter of TSR). There are five episodes in season one. We'll follow up with more info on this in due course, and we won't release anything until we've released the Realm 3 side paths and at least one update of Realm 4, as ultimately that is what most of you are here for!

We had already made overhauls to some of the newly created Realm 4 environments. We've previously shown glimpses of the city environment; however, we weren't completely satisfied with it, as it didn't fully evoke the desired feeling. This location is visited several times during Realm 4, so we want to ensure it's impressive before we launch. We've done some work to overhaul it this week, and we'll show more of that off once we're further along with it.
We weren't able to work on the side path lighting this week, as we had initially hoped, but we should be able to at some point during this month.
We worked on Atlas' new outfit for Realm 4. This isn't yet complete, but here is a work-in-progress look at it.

I also went through all of Realm 4 in the code and implemented the majority of the variables for it. For those of you who don't know, the variables are the things in the code that register your choices and stats in the game (such as "Leyala Relationship Points" or "I sided with X or Y faction"). These variables can then be called at later points, allowing for different branches or dialogue variations. In Realm 4, as we are coding everything ahead of launching the first update, this enables us to add more variation, like we've always wanted to do. For example, we're adding more dialogue variation depending on whether you've shaped Atlas as a "Strong Ruler" or a "Fair Ruler". These aren't choices you will make in Realm 4, but Atlas will sometimes speak slightly differently depending on your choices throughout Realms 1-3. Due to our fast release schedule for Realms 1-3, I defined the new variables for each update as we released them, which sometimes restricted us, as we had to work quickly. As we've taken more time with this update, it's nice to have everything defined ahead of time, which should hopefully make the releases much smoother for us going forward.
Overall, progress is moving forward, and we're very excited to share more soon. Thanks for your support, and have a great weekend!
