Added 2025-02-26 12:00:08 +0000 UTCHi all, here's my UNCUT reaction to "The Thin Man" (1934), which is something so many of you have been asking me to watch over the time on the channel. Thank you so much for requesting it, what a brilliant film!
I hadn't realised it would be a comedy mystery thriller of sorts and such masterful acting from William Powell and Myrna Loy, alongside the rest of the cast.
This is one you can relax with on an afternoon and just enjoy the antics. It also very much reminds me of something akin to an Agatha Christie murder mystery, with the table get together towards the latter half etc.

Dorothy Wynant was actress Maureen O’ Sullivan known for her roles as Jane in multiple Tarzan movies. Nat Pendleton played Lt. John Guild was a great character actor who also won a Silver Medal in the 1920 Olympic in Antwerp in Freestyle Wrestling. I would suggest you check out William Powell in “My Man Godfrey.”
