I remember him the most in the Original Rocky movie as the old boxing trainer. That role had a lot of soul.

Scott Howard

I've had a love-hate relationship with this episode since first watch: it is brilliant, unfair, ironic and evil; as a person who's worn glasses since age 7, and who has been known to spend a fearful amount of money on a wanted book, this story is a nightmare to me! I'd argue he was the very opposite of selfish - he was an innocently optimistic creature who was eager to share what he was reading, whether it was Dickens or poetry. Reading to him wasn't just something to do by himself but something that offered riches to share, and he lived in an atmosphere of people who didn't appreciate this.

Maria Torres

One of my favorite actors! He was primarily a stage actor, but he made a handful of movies, of which I especially recommend "Of Mice and Men". My intro to him was also as the Penguin, during the first run of "Batman".

Wow you’re finally at what is considered the most famous episode of The Twilight Zone, and trust me there are many more. What I appreciate about this episode is that although Henry is selfish in many ways about his reading, he’s not a bad guy. But yet his fate is utterly cruel and undeserved. Let’s just say at this point, the good guys aren’t gonna get the best endings all of the time Serling originally created The Twilight Zone as he felt constricted by network standards when he wanted to tell stories. For example he wanted to do a story on TV about the murder of Emmett Till but the networks said no Basically if you hide a message with science fiction you can fly under the radar and that’s what this series does incredibly well

You reacted recently to Burgess Meredith in the Twilight Zone episode, “Printer’s Devil.” Such a creative character actor who I loved as the Penguin in the old Batman series. Loved the episode and your queries of Sterling’s work here about his domineering wife and the bomb.
