This one has a hint of a film we've watched before, which I won't give away yet, but here's the wonderful Episode 4 of The Twilight Zone "The Sixteen-Millimeter Shrine Reaction"!
A superb telling of this type of story and in some ways an even better ending than the film that we so know and love that released some years before.

Fun fact - Ida Lupino who plays Barbara Jean went on to direct an episode of the Twilight Zone titled “The Masks”

2024-11-26 12:05:16 +0000 UTCI have to say, I did find this episode funny when it wasn’t supposed to be 😂 The scene where Barbara Jean sees Jerry again and she’s immediately disgusted 😂 And when she is basically like “oh maybe we will have a party ! We can invite all my friends!” which might possibly be the first positive thing she ever says in the ep and Danny in so many words says “are you out of your goddamned mind, your friends are all DEAD!!?!?”
