UNCUT | A Night To Remember (1958) Movie Reaction

Hi all! Here's the new uncut film reaction to "A Night To Remember" (1958).

Thank you so much for requesting this, I had no idea it existed, but it was an incredibly well made film. I actually prefer this in some ways, to the James Cameron film "Titanic". Also, knowing "Titanic" paid homage to this with certain dialogue and scenes is amazing. I saw the scenes and knew they were replicated it in the new film, but didn't know it was to actually pay homage to this!

Anyway, I so hope you enjoy this one! I loved the film itself, despite the subject matter.

Take care everyone!

Sorry Johnny.. yes, this is the way uncut reactions should be done. As we cannot legally show the film/show on screen. If anyone is, they shouldn't be. So yeah, it would need to be watched on separate screens or split screen on one computer / phone. If you would prefer, I can refund you. Please just let me know. Thank you

It's such an emotionally evoking film... so I can see why your Mum would. I wasn't sure if I would have cried. I don't think I cried at many of the moments in Titanic (the newer film), even though there were ones based on this film. However, I know I did at the Jack and Rose ending... but as you can see, with this one, it was a real tear jerker for me. The portrayal of the events in this just felt more real. Thank you for sharing that memory Robert! I hope you're well and having a lovely new year so far

This brings back memories of watching this with my mother who cried profusely at the experience.

Have you ever been to the Titanic Museum in Belfast? If not, and you get the chance, I heartily recommend it. It's on the site of the Harland and Wolff shipyard where she and her sister ships were built; and as well as all the galleries presenting everything you could possibly wish to know about the ships and their stories, including thousands of actual artifacts, there are tons of 'easter egg' features built into the architecture itself. For instance, the main building is designed as an angular structure rather like a compass rose, with each point being the exact shape and size of the Titanic's prow. You can even stand on the exact spot where Titanic and Olympic were berthed prior to their launching, with outlines of their main decks painted on the site.

Yes Marty you’re absolutely correct. The launching scene with the smashing of the bottle is not accurate. White Star Line didn’t christen their ships as modern shipping lines do today One Harland and Wolff employee is reported as saying “we just build em and chuck em in!”

I’ve been feeling so down, and seeing this pop up made me so so happy !
