UNCUT | The Twilight Zone (1959) S1 E1 "Where Is Everybody" Reaction
Added 2024-10-21 21:01:26 +0000 UTCHi all! Today marks the first day of posting my UNCUT reactions of The Twilight Zone!
So today we're starting with the very first episode, "Where Is Everybody". I'd wanted to post this today, as quite aptly with it being Back To The Future Day, this was filmed on the Universal Studios backlot, which I'm sure you already know also became the set of Hill Valley!
As for this episode itself, it's a brilliant premise. From the eerie, haunting atmosphere across the town, to the unsure, inquisitive attitude of Mike Ferris. With great writing for a mostly solo piece, it shows just how good this show can be with very little.
In regards to this series, I'm still unsure as to how often I'll be able to get these episodes out. I'm trying to watch a few of these between watching films, Doctor Who and other shows. It all depends on how much time I get.
I do have more Classic Who coming, but I haven't had time to edit the UNCUTS together for the next parts yet. I'm hoping that will be next, or if not then after the next UNCUT film reaction.
I will be getting around to the other shows you've all mentioned sometime soon too.

I started not too long ago and the amount of movies and TV shows this has inspired and made me reevaluate... This and Classic Who really is the best of old scifi you can get :D
