This is one of the most wonderful emotional father and son stories I have seen. I have a strong bond between my Dad and I, so it was lovely to see similar in film form.
It did surprise me that the film didn't do too well when it first came out. It feels very much like a film that should have done well. The right emotion, music and performances. Mendenhall is great as Mike and the way he becomes more like his Dad over the few days is so heartwarming.

What an enjoyable and heartwarming reaction to this movie, which had a strong impact on my childhood. I felt a bit like it was my First Time Watching too and that just felt great, thank you for that. It will be incredible to see the movie together with your commentary at some point, this combination is actually unbeatable and has therefore already taken a very special place in my heart.
