Added 2024-04-25 13:50:01 +0000 UTCI finally watched His Girl Friday! Wow, this film was brilliant, but it sure does go 100 mile per hour! It's hilarious and it turns out both Grant and Russell were allowed to ad-lib a lot during it too. I said it must have been so difficult to learn the lines as there was so much rapid dialogue and that's why!
Cary Grant and Rosalind Russell were fantastic in this. It's also the first film I've seen of Rosalind and weirdly enough, the next film I was set to watch was Auntie Mame, which is coincidentally another Rosalind Russell film!
