As for other Trailer reactions, I have a few I'd like to bring you, but I won't overwhelm you. They'll be extra videos on top of the usual videos and will only be if there's something that catches my eye. Someone asked me to watch old film trailers for 80s films that had filmed things specifically for the trailer, but I don't think know. Thoughts?
I won't be posting this for a few days yet, but it will go out between now and the next proper reaction.

Yeah, my thoughts exactly Deb. After editing this, I found an article that I've lost now that had the filmmakers saying it's a "modern take" on the story... but now I can't find it and can only find one that said it's "'inspired by' the 1996 movie Twister, not a remake or sequel". Strange, as like you, many scenes seem quite familiar. Yes, like the rival storm chasers scene. Whilst I know they can exist, I believe most get along and they would surely work together in this day and age. Most of the ones I know of do anyway. They know the dangers and look out for each other. Honestly, I think they'd be better following a few groups, have some form of family dynamic like the original between the main team and vaguely between the others too. Then have other chasers radio each other when a huge deadly storm happens (with the twin twisters). That could be how it will play out anyway, but I don't know about them seemingly copying parts of the original. If anything, they could have Helen Hunt reprise her role even just for a cameo as the Mum of Daisy Edgar-Jones, if they were to make her Hunt and Paxton's daughter (I don't think that's the case). Either way, I really want to see it when it's out. Oh, thank you for that! I had no idea that happened before a Tornado, as I'm colour blind and have red/green deficiency. Handy to know! Yeah, I hope we see another Trailer too nearer the time. Thanks for commenting Deb!

2024-02-25 17:24:13 +0000 UTCSo watching the trailer again it’s a bit confusing. Is it a remake? (With the similar scene of them going into the barn). Apparently a sequel, but why set up (from what is shown) the same rivalry between storm chasers? Visual are great, although I am missing the greenish hue to the sky that can happen before a tornado. Not just the horribly dark clouds. But time will tell. Maybe we’ll see a different trailer closer to premiere day. At least they’re missing peak tornado season.
