I'm honestly astounded they cancelled it with the amount of inclusivity there was within the show and in general it's a fantastic show. Hopefully something can be done, if not, then it's been a great show anyway.

This is such a beautiful show that has been well received by both fans and critics, and it only needed one more season to finish its story the way the creator intended. As you mentioned, there have been hints of renewal from cast and crew only for the show to be pulled last week. In general, I have been feeling very disheartened with the state of media and streaming. More and more original shows are being canceled for ones that are cheaper to produce (e.g., reality shows). How do platforms expect viewers to become interested in their content if we know there is a more likely than not chance that the show will be canceled before its natural conclusion? OMFD exceed expectations in every way despite budget cuts, forced re-writes, and virtually NO MARKETING. I am truly baffled by this decision. P.S. - the David #RenewAsACrew asked us to write letters to is not David Jenkins, but David Zaslav, CEO of WB (Max's parent company). People suspect he is the one responsible for the cancellation as many signs pointed to HBO supporting the show and the renewal. I understand that the merger with WB was the reason for the budget and episode cuts to Season 2.
