For some time now I've been wanting to get this uncut out, as I know it was requested some time ago. Luckily I'd been able to save the footage for this one, as I thought I may have lost it in the hard drive failure!
I can't wait to bring this one out too. It's such a good film, with a wonderfully written script.

Ahh genuinely one of my all-time favourite movies! I'm so excited to see you reaction to this one Marty! I love all the characters and it's such a great cast. All the actors do a great job, but I particularly love Olympia Dukakis and Vincent Gardenia as Rose and Cosmo. Cher, of course, is fantastic, as well. There are so many great scenes and lines, it's hard to name a favorite. I also love the New York setting--there had been so many films in the '70s and '80s that showed New York in a very negative light, somewhat rightly so. But by 1987, New York was starting to come back and in this film the city just glows, which was refreshing to see at the time. Some day when you're feeling a bit blue, put Moonstruck on and watch it again and it will cheer you up, I guarantee it!
