Elon Musk Cancels Tunnels Projects!

FOUR years ago Elon Musk was promising ‘loop’ systems everywhere… NY, DC, Chicago, LA and Vegas - ‘A solution to soul destroying traffic’. The NY-DC route was even promoted as being a 700mph hyperloop with Musk even tweeting that he had gotten ‘verbal permission’ to build it!
Now all of these projects that were featured on The Boring Company website have all been deleted… except one! Las Vegas. The thing is the LVCC loop is indefensible. They could have just run their 60 custom taxis on the terrestrial roads and achieved almost the same results. –most the time if you only want to drive 30mph, you don’t have to dig a custom tunnel to do it! Naturally, if the LVCC convention center had gone for this, it would have save them 50 million dollars in tunnel construction costs. :-D
At this point the LVCC would be better served by buying 6 of those little novelty trains you get in zoos and driving those around this system. It would carry more people, and require one tenth the drivers that the loop currently requires! Seriously why do you need Teslas with touch screen displays for a 30mph taxi ride of less than half a mile!

Hey Phil, I’m sure you’re just busy with serious research and putting together/editing videos, but when is the next quarterly or yearly hangout? It’s been 8 months since the last group chat.
