FACELESS (Making-Of)
Added 2026-01-19 14:03:07 +0000 UTCHello all! Here is the comparatively lengthy making-of for "FACELESS". Possibly the most complex episode of Bigtop to produce...
I hope you and enjoy and I'll try to answer any questions in the comments if I feel like I have a good answer. 😅
I've been getting some questions about when the compilation is coming, it might take a bit. I was working on Bigtop pretty much all of last year and I'm taking a LITTLE January break to do other stuff. Such as these making-of videos!
The last one will be out in a week or so, then I might do a retroactive making-of for "UP" because I saw some interest in that. That may actually be the most complex episode LOL.
Have a good one!!

2026-01-24 22:10:33 +0000 UTC(oopsie ignore the last comment I accidentally sent early) You did such a great impression of the Howie scream I almost thought it was the original. Gonna admit I also laughed more than I should have seeing Steve and Munk's models shoved beneath the map 😂 It was fascinating to hear that you actually slowed the pacing down in some parts from the boards test! I'm continually wowed by how much information you're able pack into such a short timeframe, and this episode especially highlights that. like the fact that Caligari is a space fungus is all I needed to understand his deal and how he connects to the whole story, incredible. The gravestone was a piece of lore I was not expecting to get and I am very happy about it. What you said made me wonder if Munkustrap is actually older than Steve, I had always kind of assumed the opposite bc of the roles they played in Cats. He does have a grey streak in his hair now while Steve doesn't, but I had chalked that up to him being more stressed out from doing his job these past ~375 million years while Steve was basically hibernating. Cesare and Doctor's interactions were the highlight of the FTX arc for me, I loved that they were both on the same wavelength and genuinely enjoyed riffing off each other so it was SO nice to see that come full circle with such a satisfying payoff (you could say that moment really HAMMERED it home hahaha ok i'll stop now). And there are so many fun details in that illustration of their first meeting! I would love to know what the full text on Allen's shirt was so that I can draw it, I'm guessing it's the name of his college? Anyway wonderful episode, wonderful making of, there's so much more I could say but this comment is long enough as it is. Hope you're having a great week and don't forget to let yourself rest!

2026-01-22 02:27:37 +0000 UTCGeneral question- Are the characters' hands sculpted plus a lineart modifier? Do you have an episode where you go into more detail about your rigs?
