thank you! yes, I uploaded the song here but it's not quite finished. the thing you're describing was the exact thing I'm still working on 😭😂 one of the plugins is screwing up the signal, I need to go through and diagnose it

i notice this is peaking at PCM levels of -0db which means it's overshooting and probably clipping most (fixed bit) playback systems and ESPECIALLY lossy codecs. Are you going to get this mastered to avoid that kind of problem before uploading it to itunes? either way, a little more head-room might let the transients breathe a little better. i know these days songs are all about crushing for maximum loudness, but i would recommend giving the peaks a little more space to breathe, i think it'd make for a slightly better long-term listening experience. (to be clear, i'm not talking about compressing the song differently (which would change the lovely, punchy vibe of the song) as much as I'm talking about not, like, 'digitally slicing off' the peaks quite as much.) btw, i probably should've said this at the beginning, but i LOVE all the songs you've made for BTB, Up, Down, the acoustic thing from the end. All a complete delight to listen to.
