I love your approach to camera work, very practical with a "nothing matters as long as the final shot looks good" attitude, I'd love to see a whole stream or even a time lapse of a character being made or even just a hair tutorial, but thank you for making this it was very insightful *0*

yes, I briefly mention that in the video! getting it to accurately match the deformation on the underlying object is VERY difficult, I only used that technique for the elk

Fantastic! Did you know that you can deform GP objects with bones? So for example the lines on the hat, you can do in GP and not texture paint and then parent them to the head bone.

Would you talk more about why you chose this hybrid 3D-2D method for this project, what's the pros, the cons, and if you're gonna keep using it in the future? Maybe you already see some room for improvement? There is already some answers in that making of but I feel like this could be a talk in itself.
