Greetings everyone!

The Lightward's work is never easy. Bringing brightness and joy to even the darkest corners, they work tirelessly to show the world that good still exists. Weaving all colors of the rainbow, they try to resolve things peacefully, but for those that won't see reason, a Lightward will turn to their more destructive magics.

A look back from Matthew:

What a fun item to make. So we actually put this one together with TTRPGKids and that was an awesome experience. The direction that we got from a youngster was that they loved rainbows and wanted something with lots of color. Well, never one to turn down a good time, I was absolutely elated to make this with Fernando.

Rainbows have a lot of great properties to them. It speaks to pride, joy, light, and also is a representative spectrum of all of the colors within white light. That set my mind racing about something that could bend the type of damage a spell does at will. Go ahead, cast iceball instead of fireball.

That would have been fun enough on its own I think, but there's so many cool spells in 5E that have something to do with color and I thought it would be a missed opportunity to not celebrate them here.
