Greetings everyone!
The perfect accessory for the less than noble professionals in the field, the Breacher's Cuffs are just the sort of thing you could find in the seedy underbelly of a crime filled town. Anyone wearing these bracers would do well to hide them lest people ask some questions.
A look back from Matthew:
Often times when I go over these old items, I see things I would change or improve now. It's just natural to look at your older work and think about how far you've come since then. I think that's the mark of a creator that is always trying to improve themselves. I'd go so far as to call it a healthy thing.
One thing I learned from these when we released them is that more isn't always better. Sometimes keeping mechanics straightforward and limiting an item to doing one or two things while maintaining cinematic moments that can be made to feel special, well that's where the real magic is. Packing something full of as many mechanics as possible isn't the way to make something great.
These are a unique piece though. They were meant to be a roguish utility belt in a lot of ways. They're meant to provide things that maybe wouldn't have otherwise come along in a rogue's toolkit. I think they work really well for one of those "I have a tool for that" type of players. It's fascinating to me to think of the options one could use like setting up a grease trap into a tripwire or something. Anyways, I dig these bracers, but I don't know that I would give something these days so many things!
You can find complete downloads below with all of the formats that we normally only offer for our patrons. These backlog items will be publicly available for you to get a sense of what kind of quality you can expect from our releases.
If you would like to gain access to these robust formats for every new magic item we release, including early access to them, consider becoming a patron.
Thanks everyone for the support. We appreciate it and can't wait to bring you more.
