Another Cerulean sketch
Added 2024-11-14 17:51:21 +0000 UTCI tried to design Cerulean's mask and upper-body armour. I don't think it looks right, he looks too run-down, and not enough like a King or a wizard. I'll have to make some tweaks. Also, it's very difficult drawing helmets or masks that look cool with visible eyes showing emotion.
Edit: Actually, this one looks terrible to me now, please go look at the new sketches instead 😅

Thanks, looking at this now he looks really goofy lol but i think i was on the right track. he definitely is meant to have that look in his eyes, i think i did a much better job on the newer sketch though (this one https://www.patreon.com/posts/more-cerulean-116011279) need to design his armour below the neck more, but the helmet looks good to me now

2024-11-14 19:25:55 +0000 UTCHonestly, I really like the design. A violent king ruling a nation of people condemned to misery should look like a run-down and tattered warrior. Even from the text/description, I think they perfectly match what we see. The eyes also convey a mix of violent intent and tiredness. I don't know if this is exactly what you were going for, but I really like it!
