So here's my theory. Since the doctor is already working on cloning and genetics Brianna's crush took him to Giddeon's ship so he could get all the stuff he needs then she scrambles up his personality and makes him pro empire and he'll secretly work on his research for cloning and genetics. That kind of stuff might be able to bring back anyone from the dead. Particularly people that were very powerful in the empire. And don't forget, at the end of season two Giddeon did say he wanted to study grogu's blood.
