Fabulous episode and i loved watching your reaction especially towards the end in Linda's office. It was such a powerful scene and did let us see more into the deeper emotions that lucifer has when previously we have seen his humorous and apparently shallow side. Dr Linda seems to be right, Luci hides it all behind humour and the hedonistic persona he has created around himself. It was this episode that made me realise that i was becoming so invested in the story and maybe needed a huge binge to find out more. I was hooked! I wonder if you will be too?

I am so happy to join your Lucifer journey! I joined your channel specifically for this show reaction, and I apologize in advance for this book long comment, but I just finished catching up to your current episode and am responding to some of your thoughts up to this point.
Yes, Like or dislike according to your own feelings.
Personally I think all the characters exhibit reasons to like or dislike them by how they act/react in the situations as the story unfolds. It is a matter of degree and for how long, until something they might do under other circumstances makes us change how we view them again. Remember to look at/judge the Celestials according to the rules and morality they lived under for millennia, but Dan has a human conscience and morals.
Just a couple of observations gleaned from the earlier episodes. God is the father of all angels, and Lucifer is still an angel even if he was cast out of Heaven for rebelling. As Amenadiel coached Linda to say in the session to “reach” Lucifer, in the historic Judeo-Christian literature, Samael was God’s favorite son, and being sent to rule Hell was kinda Tough Love teaching/punishment/gift (according to Linda). As Lucifer angrily responds, the Devil himself is portrayed as evil and responsible for all the bad throughout human history, and that is why I Love this show giving another perspective of the Devil’s motivations. He is working for his father to punish evil, but humans don’t like to take responsibility for their own actions and “The Devil made me do it” is their excuse.
Lucifer blames all his own problems on His father, rather like a rebellious teenager that he emotionally still is. His one immutable rule is that he doesn’t lie to anyone. (Unlike other Celestial beings.) He might let the listener believe something else by his omissions or how he phrases things, but the words he actually uses are literally true. (Except when joking with Chloe, but he immediately makes sure she knows the truth. “How long have I been out?” “Three years.”)
The other character I want to mention is Chloe. So many viewers keep/kept asking why she doesn’t recognize that Lucifer is the Devil when he always tells her so, especially as an explanation for the inexplicable weird stuff happening around him. My view so far is that Hot tub high school aside, she has always been a responsible adult, existing in our reality where superheroes and supernatural beings are only in comics, movies and TV. Like us in real life, Chloe is going to keep thinking there are logical explanations until she is shown indisputable evidence. Will that ever happen? For the most part, Chloe is just accepting Lucifer’s abilities and antics equally as just part of his personality because she might find out stuff she can’t accept if she looks too deep into his “Luciferness”.
Again, sorry for the book, but IMO these are important points to consider going forward as you speculate on Lucifer’s and Chloe’s motivations and growth while (hopefully) you keep enjoying the show.
