Listener questions for upcoming podcast episode?

Hi folks, on our next DrunkFriend podcast recording on December 9, we have a guest that just recently completed all 669 licensed NES games from start to finish. Here's his twitter: https://twitter.com/KelsyPolnik

I figured this would be a good opportunity for some folks here to pick his brain about certain NES-related subjects. Post whatever questions that come to mind in the comments!

The 80s gave birth to some of the best franchises of all time. With all the licensed crap that ended up being made... what franchise SHOULD have had an NES game made? What kind of game would you want it to be?

What was a game that had a lot of promise, but was stymied/ruined by something that wasn’t obvious until well into the play through?

Matt Hargett

What was your average playtime? Were the games generally as short as arcade games around the same time period?

Frank Grimes

Oh awesome, crab master! I've been subscribed and checking out some of his videos since NES friend mentioned that's where he gets some footage from. I'm curious if the music from any NES game gave him trouble with YouTube copyright. Second question, maybe a better question, what was his approach with games that were mostly intended to be multiplayer games, like Pictionary or Wheel of Fortune. What did you count as finishing it, and did any hold up well with only CPU opponents?

Paul

Here are a couple: what are some NES games that you think are underrated? What games do you think are overrated?

Megabyte01

Any chance you'll play through all the Master System games so you can say which system was better?

Rhonda Shear. Gilbert Godfried also hosted sometimes

Aw man, what was that blondes name on "Up All Night"?

Cavdog26

I don't think I've seen Once Bitten, but after looking it up, I'm guessing I may have seen at least some of it on USA "Up All Night"

lol

What was the 351st best game?

Whoa, good call! Thanks for the tip

Man, I was going to ask if any of you had watched Once Bitten starring Jim Carrey before, but I guess I'll go with these NES-related questions: 1. Is Mega Man IV the most underrated NES Mega Man game? And if not, which is? 2. Looks and name aside, are there any differences between Mike Tyson & Mr. Dream in terms of the fight itself?

Sounds pretty interesting, if you want to do a similar thing with SNES get in contact with Peebs on Twitch and elsewhere. He is 800+ through all official releases and translations. He is usually pretty easy to get along with but I can make the initial contact if you want.

What NES game best deserves a sequel or remake that has not been done or really talked about?

Cavdog26

Which NES character most deserves their own cereal, what would it be called, and what would the flavor be?

Burgerchamp
