While in the building where the fire started, he accidentally knocks over a kerosene lantern and causes a fire, the same fire that would inspire him, years later, to travel back in time. The bootstrap paradox is closely tied to this, in which, as a result of time travel, information or objects appear to have no beginning.

In this situation the team going back and causing it is included(which means what’s happening currently is leading to that end unless the path deviates by making different choices.) the problem is they don’t know what choices to make that are different then what they made in that other timeline) and their goal is to break that loop. This came out before marvel established timetravel rules and Yo-yo’s point is that if time IS fixed (which they have more evidence of that being true regardless of if it’s true or not) then she can’t be killed before the earth cracks. If she does change it and is killed then they broke the loop and either stopped that future or on the right path because they actually did something that definitely didn’t happen to cause it’s destruction so either way win win.
