The Mandalorian S2E6 UNCUT

Comments

I think it is a matter of a device being harder and longer to attach than remove. Notice we've never seen him attach the jet pack to the back of his armor, only remove it. It's always been someone else that has attached it quickly. Last season, it was the armorer that attached it. Same with Cobb and Boba, we've always seen them with their jet packs already attached. We've never seen a sequence of them trying to attach it. So, while it may take only a few seconds to remove it, like he did in Chapter 10 and here, it might take a minute or more to attach it himself. To do it alone, he might even need to temporarily remove his armor to attach it to the back. EDIT: Also, watching the episode again, notice Mando's cape covering the back? How is Mando going to re-attach the jet pack by himself and not have the cape get in the way? Take time to remove the cape and then tie it back on after? It would either have to be a second person that can re-attach it, or he would have to temporarily remove his armor. Fennec and Boba are busy engaging the stormtroopers.

He's one of those actors that makes a great "bad guy" / villain. He was that way in Breaking Bad, and now here. It's interesting that the first major role for him was in a comedy in the 1990s film "Amos and Andrew" starring Samuel L. Jackson and Nicholas Cage. I think his comedy days are long behind him.

they show the Beskar taking more then a few hits at a certain point in the episode, dont think that would have been an issue

Person flying up in a straight line is such an easier target, than partly camo'd person dodging on the ground, that even Storm Troopers would have hit him.

If you were responding to my question about AoS, I saw they just posted the next episode. So I shall be deleting my comment/question.

one thing I dont get about this episode. when they saw the troopers coming and starting running, why didnt Din Djarin just quickly reach down and pick up his jetpack? instead he decides to hoof it up the mountain. the jetpack was right there at his feet. ( i know its "because the plotline" but come on, thats just lazy writing.)

You can tell Moff Gideon's actor (Giancarlo Esposito) is just having a ball playing this character.

Has been explained: Life. Things will be back as soon as they can be. (It's not because they don't want to, rather that not all are available to do so,)
