Getting to put these side characters into play is nice because it gives me a chance to start playing with the concept of children born from cosmic horrors. Like having a mouth on the side of your neck...
If there's anyone who can't tell just by the illustration, Levi has diamond skin, made visible with pure alcohol. I don't plan to really delve into these individual's characteristics until Deleon asks about it later down the line. Because I feel like it would slow down the already slow pace of this comic having to explain every individual's powers lol. idk, lemme know if y'all think otherwise. But for now the chapter is nearing it's end, with only a few pages left and then chapter three, a conversation with Walker, can begin!

Maybe not every character gets an explanation, and it could be a quick question from Deleon with a quick answer? I think having a character who is just as new to this as the readers are helps take out some of the strain of exposition, but those are just my two cents! I think you’ve been doing great so far and I can’t wait to learn more!
