This show has some problems, and one of those is that it "show don't tell." Can your parents have an affect on your life as an adult? Sure. But they don't "show" how Sophie's parents affect her life. Same with the hacker chick, never saw how her parents made her hate herself, and with Catherine never saw her interact with Kate's family before her mother died, so her "tough decision" to make them believe Beth died in that crash has no weight. If you're going to have a character make a huge decision in their lives that affect them and others, you have to show us why they made it so we can have some emotional attachment to that character. This is a T.V. show not a T.V. tell.

Well then... makes Thanksgiving and Christmas planning easy. You won't have to visit them. You are 25+ years old, not 15. You also work for a guy who already knows your "secret", doesn't care, and made you the #2 person after him in his company.

She won't come out as gay because her parents are homophobes, even though Sophie is an adult and her parents have little to no impact on her life, we never see her interact with her parents, we don't even know their names. Her husband want a divorce and that's her fault, and now she tortures people for crimes they didn't commit. Sophie is the worst. BTW this is the worst episode of Batwoman.....so far.
